God of Mercy

God of mercy,
God of might,
    fill your child
    with your pure light. 

God all-holy,
God of grace,
    cleanse my heart;
    show me your face. 

God of living,
God of life,
    breathe in me;
    remove all strife. 

God of wisdom,
God of fire,
    purge my will
    and my desire. 

God all-perfect,
God all-right,
    sanctify
    me in your sight.

God all-loving,
God most kind,
    conform me
    to Christ's own mind. 

God of wonder,
God of days,
    Fill my mouth
    with endless praise. 

God exalted,
God most high,
    be my guest,
    forever nigh. 

God almighty,
God all-strong,
    keep me free
    from ev'ry wrong. 

God all-able,
God like rock,
    preserve me
    with all your flock.
