You have overthrown the tables
Of wickedness and rebellion.
Ev'ry idol I thought hidden,
You've driv'n from a will once stubborn.
You have come into Your temple;
You have removed all corruption.
You have taken up residence,
To live without interruption.
Where once there was desecration,
Your holiness has since displaced.
Where self had lived as Your rival,
Your presence everywhere is graced.
My body's now Your sacred temple,
Reserved for only You to dwell;
All members fully surrendered,
To the blessed Immanuel.
In this holy habitation,
Let constant hallelujahs rise;
Since Christ, the mighty Conqueror,
Fills the temple where He abides.
